First Time Skater

STEP 1

Become Learn to Skate USA Member

(Required to for all LTS USA Classes nationwide) Return to this page after purchasing membership to continue registration process.

All skaters are required to join Learn to Skate USA for an annual membership prior to the start of class.  Please choose Livingston Skate Club as your affiliated club.  Membership costs approximately $18 and renews July 1st every year. Membership provides the opportunity to participate in Learn to Skate USA classes taught by certified and background checked Learn to Skate USA instructors. Skaters receive a Learn to Skate USA member number, cirriculum and educational material, Learn to Skate USA magazine, online/mobile app program materials and more!  This membership is required for all Learn to Skate USA programs nationwide.

*Note:  If skater has a current USA Hockey or US Figure Skating membership, there is no need to purchase a Learn to Skate USA membership in addition.


STEP 2

Create Entry Eeze Account

1 - Visit: Membership Welcome Page

2 – Under New Members, click “Apply for Membership” (if you are an existing member, you may login to your account and skip below to the “Register for Classes” instructions

3 – Follow prompts to create account

4 – Login to Entry Eeze as “Existing Member”

6 – Select “Apply / Renew” along the top bar

7 – Select “Learn to Skate” under membership type & select “Apply

*Your account has been created and membership applied. Now see below to register for classes!


STEP 3

Register for Classes

1 – Once logged in to Entry Eeze, Along the top ribbon, select Contract Ice then Browse & Purchase

2 – Scroll to the Learn to Skate Session option & select Continue

3 – Expand the arrow next to Packages

4 – Select the classes you would like to sign up for

5 – When you are finished adding to your cart, checkout and pay!


HOW TO DRESS:

  • Skates should fit, please don’t leave growing room.

  • Rental skates are available for purchase.

  • Skates should have good ankle support, and only have one blade.

  • It’s best to wear thin socks in the skates, comfortable tighter fit clothing, and gloves or mittens.

  • We strongly advise skaters to wear a helmet. Especially skaters 7 and under who have less than a year of skating experience.

  • We teach the Learn to Skate USA curriculum. This includes the following levels: Snowplow Sam 1-4, Hockey 1-4, Basic 1-6, Freeskate Levels & Adult
